Ed Dunn, owner of Dun-Rite Power Washing and Painting of Warwick, says,
"The name says it all."
He explained that anyone can power wash, paint or stain, but there are a lot of bad jobs.
"There are some," he said, "where decks are not cleaned well and then stained unevenly or are badly damaged due to power washing too close. In the end, it sometimes costs the owners more to repair damages than hiring a professional in the first place."
A retired police officer, Dunn started his power washing and painting business four years ago while living upstate with his wife Jennifer and their children. With most of the work coming from Orange County, the family decided to move to Warwick. During colder months, Dunn and his employees move inside and do more painting contracts.
Dunn also likes to spend his downtime with his wife and two sons and volunteers to assist in coaching the Warwick Youth Wrestling team, where his son Nicholas participates. He also sponsors and is involved in many community events. Below are just a couple I have sponsored.
"The best results come from using the right equipment and products to help aid the cleaning process." Said Dunn. "Homeowners do not need to get hurt with unfamiliar equipment or cleaning solutions. That is what we are experienced and insured to do. The Warwick area has been good to my family and I meet great people everyday."
